Work diary of Luz Arcas, dancer, and choreographer as well as the founder of the dance company La Phármaco, during the process of La anunciación, a dance production created for La Compañía Nacional de Danza de El Salvador, on the occasion of the celebration of the country’s Bicentenary of Independence. The awareness that colonialism is not a stage in History but History itself, that cultural violence is the most effective way to domesticate and subjugate peoples, and the need for physical memory as a form of resistance, the collective body or the deep bond with time, with life. Where dance fits into this quest.
