Hölderlin expresses the condition of exile in which language finds itself for the modern man both in his poetic work and in his poetological meditation. Philosophers and theorists of literature have therefore seen in his work a unique reference point in which modernity begins to recognize its inherent problematicity, i.e., that its crisis constitutes its most resounding moment of truth. Some essential aspects of our own philosophical line of research are presented in this paper, which analyzes the links of the aforementioned approach with that of Nietzsche's thought starting from the question of nihilism.Downloads
