The problem of canon is located in the genesis of the lines of thought of the group in the last twenty years. The verification of its historic character, the intervention of different spheres of literary polysystem in the determination of the literary object or the decisive paper of the institutions and the different cultural agents in its conformation will fall into the reserach lines of the next years. The second subject of interest is constituted by the study of literary ideas, the secondary genre, the thought wich literature has created. The history of literary ideas (1214-2010) –which is the eighth number of the History of Literature of Mainer- and the monograph entitled Thought and literary criticism in the 20th century (Castillian, Catalan, Basque, Galician Language) published by cátedra in 2019 as principal result of the Research Project “Literary Ideas in the Literature of 20th Century Spain (Castillian, Catalan, Basque, Galician Language)” (FFI2013-44011-P) will be two fundamental milestones in this field. The third subject of our interest has been the study of literary historiography. The development of this research line acquires its place in the Research Project financed by the Ministry, entlited “Literary Historiography of 19th and 20th Century Spain (Castillian, Catalan, Basque, Galician Language)” (FFI2017-82955-P).
