From the results given by a data base on the work of military engineers in Cuba, their work between 1764 and 1810 in different parts of the island will be analyzed. From this information several aspects such as their mobility among the most active centres or the diverse purposes which led them to leave Havana will be evaluated. Thanks to them, this research will achieve arguments for the current discussion about the circulation of scientific knowledge during the Early Modern Period.
