Abstract
Our objective is to describe and explain the knowledge, beliefs and practices used by a teacher educator during her teaching activity, aiming to providing professional learning opportunities for future teachers to teach Algebra in the early years. To carry out this study, we used data from video recordings of three lessons given by a teacher educator who taught the subject of Teaching Mathematics in primary teacher pre-service education. As a main result, we evidenced the teacher educator’s professional learning from the transformation of her practices driven by the reorganization of her beliefs about mathematics, its teaching and learning
