In this article we present the critical and annotated edition, and linguistic analysis, of a 13th century Andalusi treatise on metrics and rhyme. The treatise, originally the property of the University of Granada and its Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, was found by the authors in 2012 while conducting research in the archives of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). The origins of the manuscript were investigated and the data regarding its author corrected. It is one of the most important and complex treatises on metrics and rhyme to have been found and it discusses metrics, feet and syllables. The treatise is largely unintelligible and has thus been annotated with almost forty comments.
