The Moorish Alonso Ruiz and Alonso Axir request to Alonso del Castillo, "romanceador" of arabic documents of the Granada Kingdom, to translate several arabic papers for proving that the land and irrigation belong to them. The plea was done for confronting with the demands made by Pedro del Prado and faced with the Christian Tribunals all the charges and demonstrate they innocence. This acussation shows many unknown subjects about Granada in the muslem period, like place names, housing, streets, tradicional ways for watering, channels, family, costs, money, etc. Besides we are publishing these documents translated by this "romanceador" unpublished till today.Downloads
