Abstract

Qisas al-anbiya's Literary Genre compiles all kinds of religious nature accounts, some of them extracted from its own Muslim Cultural Wealth and others –under a wide scale of nuances- that correspond with a religious literary substratum, characteristic in the milieu where Islam rose in. Inside this last block is Saul Conversion's Story whose style and literary genre belong to the method used by Evangelists and that is why we think this Account -with interpolations, glosses and omissions from bright Muslim mark- must be a Story which ran through Christian Community of Damascus and -after a suitable Muslim re-elaboration- was gathered and joined to his work by Ibn Katir.
