Abstract
Laujar de Andarax is a country town in the Alpujarra very attractive, not only for his exuberant territory, but also for those three moments in which it was called to turn into a kingdom: First, with the nasri prince Abu ‘Abd Allah Muhammad b. Abi Sa‘id (1ª half XIVth c.); secondly, under Boabdil; and third, with Aben Humeya. We also give an hypothesis about his name's meaning, and notices about his famous sons, since Xth century till XIVth.
