Abstract
Summarizes the information provided by al-Maqqarī about six of Ibn al-Khatīb's disciples: the renowned Ibn Zamrak; the physician Ibn al-Muhannā; the judge Abū Bakr/Abū Dja‘far Ibn Djuzayy; the preceptor of the Nasrid princes Abū ‘Abd Allāh al-Sharīshī; the poet Abū Muhammad Ibn ‘Atiyya; and the scribe Abū Dja‘far Ibn Furkūn (father of King Yūsuf III's aulic poet). In addition, the text of a 17-verse qasida in praise of Ibn al-Kha.tīb, written by Ibn ‘A.tiyya for an inscription to be carved in one of the vizier's mansions, is included.
