La navegabilidad en el curso alto del Guadalquivir en época romana.

Abstract

In this paper we try to prove if the Guadalquivir river was navigable in the Roman period even its high course, a polemic question even nowadays because of the confused information that the ancient text give us. The conclusion obtained allow us to study the river as way of communication, analysing its relations with the terrestrial way and the character of the fluvial traffic.
