La villa romana de Las Viñas (Cuevas del Becerro, Málaga) y el poblamiento rural romano en la depresión de Ronda.

Abstract

From the results obtained in an urgency excavation carried out in the roman villa "Las Viñas" (Cuevas del Becerro, Málaga), an historical interpretation of the villa and inferences on the development of the rural and urban settlement in the Ronda Basin are made. To point out the results obtained from the analysis of there ceramic containers found in one of the cellae in the villa, which indicate that part of the documented building structures were utilized for manufacturing olive oil.
