Abstract

In this paper we've tried to offer to the interested readers a whole suitable translation ofthe briefhandbook about Latín metre, written by Fl. Mallius Theodorns (ca. 399 a.C.), from the original Latin text into Spanish. We've made our translation on the basis of Keil's edition (GLK VI 585-601 ). In the copious footnotes that go with the text we've attempted to locate his metrical teaching in the frame ofthe rhythmical and metrical theories ofthe Late Antiquity.
