Abstract

After the second Punic war, central Italy becomes engaged in a new era: that of transition in order to pass into the era of the economy of the market. This changing has got some percussions on the field of the rural economy. First of all on the modellimg of the land and the different hinds of its exploitation. Also on the varions means of the realisation of the work, that concems men as well as the instruments of the realisation of the work. Then on the nature of the production and the forms of the production. Finally, on the modes of relations between the county side and commercial centres. This transition is directed by jurídica! norms which certainly develop in a parallel way with the evolution of the rural economy and its relations with other economic fields such as the commerce on the fmanced mashed. For this approach, texts for Latin agriculturals and those of juridical forms reported by jurists as well as by agriculturals in addition to the archaeological results are of the very help.
