Amor y celos en los personajes masculinos de Caritón de Afrodisia

Abstract

This paper is an attempt to study, with the help of the Greimasian semiotic, the narrative processes of manifestation of love and jealousy in masculine characters, as pathernic subjects, in the novel Quereas and Calirroe, by Cariton of Afrodisia. In the same way, it attempt to revise the manifestation of these pasions as pathos, animics disturbs, such as it have been understood by the philosophical and litterary tradition in Ancient Greece.
