Abstract

M. Bibulus and M. Cato formed a political alliance through of ties of blood, between Parcia, Cato's daughter, and M. Bibulus, cos. 59 B.C. They had a couple children, but Bibulus previously had had other three sons from a former marriage. Classic writers bring a very confused view of problem, and the modem scholarship hasn't clarified the matter. This paper is some of light on this topic.
