Abstract

An annotated critical edition with translation of the Latin poems of the Dialogo de methodo studendi, a play by the Jesuit Father Andrés Rodríguez. Taking these poems as a starting point, his poetic technique, his dramatic conception of the Latin verse and his classical education are also examined.
