Abstract

Leopoldo Alas, "Clarín", often mentions the Greco-Roman myths, sometimes with saty­rical intention, demonstrating the ignorance or bad use of the Greco-Roman mythology in his time. I examine the presence of classical myths and mythical names in this author, selecting some works among his huge literary production.
