Epigrafia estatuaria de culto imperial en los conventus Cordubensis e Hispalensis

Abstract

In the present article we analyze 68 inscnpttons coming from conventus Cordubensis and Hispalensis that have allowed us to make an approach to the subject of the Roman sculpture of the Betica from the epigraphic sources, and more concretely those related closely to the imperial cult. Thus, as it will be exposed, the studied inscriptions correspond in their majority to donations of statues (of divinities, emperors or individuals)made, along with their related pedestals, by priesthoods (local or provincial) tie to the mentioned cult.
