Notas para el estudio de la delación en Amiano Marcelino

Abstract

This work aims to offer a fi rst preview for the study of delation in the Res Gestae by Ammianus Marcellinus, therefore analysing the testimonies regarding this gathered from the preserved works by this classical author, the last great representative of latin historiography. Similarly, this article pays attention to the attitude and position of Ammianus with regard to such a generalised practice of delation in the roman society of his time.
