Abstract

The culture and society in which we live is in constant transformation and higher education must be in line with the times and not be left behind as traditionally has passed.

The objectives of this proposal are: to use innovative techniques in the training of future teachers, to renew methods in teaching, to encourage collaborative and meaningful work, promote interdisciplinarity through artistic education with the elaboration of materials that combine the visual arts, music and movement, to apply an active methodology and to increase the linguistic, artistic, social and digital competences of university students mainly on the technique of digital storytelling.

We have followed a qualitative methodology in the research and an active and collaborative methodology in the classroom in the development of the experience.

The results have been positive and allow us to extract some ideas or reflections as a conclusion as well as proposals for expansion and improvement.
