Starting from the analysis of an artwork by Raqs Media Collective, this paper attempts to determine how to conceptualize the presence of Contemporary Indian Art in the digital medium. In order to do this, it is necessary to revise both the artistic discourses of some creators who often use this medium, and the mechanism that conforms the art system. Thus, we will discuss questions such as, “Is it possible to speak about a shift in the terms that dominate creativity?; “In what way do artists conceive identity through art?”; and “What role is played by borders in an ever more globalized country?”Downloads
