Abstract

There is no doubt that the work of teachers is a vital link for the teaching effectiveness, hence the initial training of teachers, in general, and of teachers of special regime music teaching, in particular, constitute an important study and research focus. The original purpose of these teachings was to train future music professionals (artists, composers,...), but over time graduates of these studies ended up, more and more, working as music teachers in conservatories or in Secondary Schools. These "teachers" faced teaching with little or no specific pedagogical training, which was detrimental to students.

Until the appearance of the LOGSE and the subsequent laws, pedagogical and didactic knowledge of Musical Arts Education Teachers has been the ‘pending subject" on the above-mentioned teachings. In this study a chronological analysis of pedagogical and didactic aspects in different curricula of these teachings is presented.
