Abstract

In order to intervene successfully in any sample or population group, it is necessary to know its specific characteristics ( deriving from its own culture and geographical space), as well as the general characteristics it shares with other members of its population group, whether it be in the same country or continent (for example, in the case of the street children of the Americas), or even at the worldwide level.

This article seeks to achieve the following objective: to compare at the theoretical level the characteristics of the street children of Ceuta (Spain) to some of the characteristics which define and interrelate street children both in developing and developed countries.
