Perceptions of the professional environment of Higher Music Education Lecturers in Romania

This research attempts to establish the perceptions about the professional environment of lecturers in higher music teaching in Romania, in the context of the situation in the countries of Eastern Europe after the fall of communism.
After conducting an empirical study, the opinions and expectations of a broad group of Romanian academics from different musical specialties in the new political and educational framework of the European Union are analysed.
