Abstract

The objective of this study is to present the design and validation of a questionnaire to find out the opinion of students in secondary education of Torrellano (Alicante) on the FesteraMusica (MúsicaFestera) and its possibilities of application in the classroom. The reference population consists of 597 students of music distributed in four academic years of secondary schools (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th). If we work with a confidence level of 95 % and an error margin of 5 %, the size that needs the sample of students to be representative of the population of reference is of 234. The questionnaire was sent to the whole population and the sample was of 484. The first version of the questionnaire was validated by expert professionals at the university area, who specialize in evaluation of programs, and which was modified later, according to their contributions and suggestions. The basic criteria for this report are simplicity, accuracy and precision of the items that compose and discretion and preservation of anonymity in the handling of information. The obtained results show that the questionnaire is valid to find out the perception and opinion of students in secondary education on the Festera Music (Música Festera) and its applications in the classroom.
