Abstract

This research derives from the project "Promotion of healthy habits and lifestyles from the school and community environment in vulnerable conditions", which contains five lines of work. only a partial account is given of the Pedagogical Processes for School and Community Health axis. For this purpose, an open interview and a questionnaire were used, which were applied to teachers working in basic education schools located in the communities participating in the project. The results show that teachers recognize the condition of their health, and, at the same time, they teach its care from what is established in the study plan and program with which they work. Finally, ideas are put forward as to what can be addressed by the educational policy in terms of teacher training for the care of the planet and the preservation of health.
