Abstract

On the intersecting path of educating and promote resilience lies the key to building a new digital humanism that counteracts the cognitive capitalism characteristic of the age of artificial intelligence. To prevent the digital checkmate of surveillance capitalism, it is necessary to teach and learn to promote resilience to vindicate the right to make decisions to face this incomprehensible world, the right to the future time to enjoy a human life understood as a melting pot of possibilities, and the right to the common good to expand the community to the whole of the present and future human. We also need to move from extractive education to emancipatory education based on a resilient education that provides us with a critical, reflective, and inventive perspective that generates social commitment and democratic citizenship; and so, we can move towards a new culture of compassion, love, and service more than ever.
