Abstract

The paper studies Christian perceptions of Jews and Moslems, as reflected in the representation of these social and religious groups in sorne works of art created for Christian patrons. We also review the discussion of Jewish and Moslem works of art in Christian chronicles and sources. The time-span is that of the Lower Middle Ages up to the transition to the Modern Age.
