Abstract

The Descalced Order of the Holy Trinity, which was established in Granada at the beginning of the 18th century, commissioned an image of Our Lady of Grace from Luis or Felipe de la Peña. This was set up in the church in 1635. The article offers a study ofthe image, together with the space for the Virgin's adomments and the high altarpiece, one of the few which has a large revolving tabernacle. Unfortunately, this altarpiece disappeared at an unknown date. We also analyse a series of engravings, jewels and costumes belonging to Our Lady of Grace.
