Resumen

We have applied the antibody fluorescent method to the study of the infection of leguminous plants by Rhizobium. We wanted to investigate the application of this technique to other parts of the plant biology. It has been possible to observe the bacteria inside nodules in different stages of their development by this procedure.

By simultaneous and succesive inoculations of antigenivly different Rhizobium strains, we have tried to study the limits that exist in the roots of these plants to achieve a great nodulation.
