Abstract

The differences of gender wich reveals every cultures have influence on the aesthetics.
The study of architecture offers special features on the feminine places. Taking as starting
point the conquest of Granade in this article, we have made an analysis on the image of the
woman and architecture, the relation between feminine and masculine places and the aesthetics
differences wich have each space. These questions find in the Alhambra of Granade a singular
architecture because we can perceive the image of woman in the islamic and christian
cultures.
