Abstract

In any social and historic process of the kind -and so far we are not aware of anything different- the relations of dependency of women towards men are the best guarantee of the dominance of men over women, following a pattem of sexual division of labor and social inequality. We should talk about conflicts of interest between women and men. In our historic analysis we must understand that education is the main tool by means of which structural violence has a direct irifluence over women's lives. We must consider it as a mechanism to control, limit, exclude and forget women, with all the consequences it has entailed, as much as it might have been a mechanism of transgression and freedom.
