Abstract

The editing discipline within art drives and captures all of the creative force associated with the preparatory phases and moments that precede the work of the artist. Editing thus reveals itself to be a high-performance creative research laboratory, out of which new formats and artistic research materials will emerge. The flexibility and experimental nature of this way of working – one that approaches editing as an artistic genre in its own right – allows us to propose creative experiences from which to actively generate publics and stances based on a commitment to the cultural, above and beyond current trends or the climate in the sector.
