The year 2001 was the 50th anniversary of the journal Miscelánea de Estudios Árabes y Hebraicos. For this reason, the Editorial Board decided to publish a special issue and among the several proposals that were considered, it was agreed to develop a volume monograph on studies in different fields of Hebrew literature within the Spanish Judaism. All researchers who have contributed to this volume, have been free to guide and constrain the text temporarily.
