Abstract

This article includes an edition, translation and study of the original Arabic version of one chapter on Hebrew Cantilation System attributed to Hayyug by tradition. It was only known in its Hebrew version until some fragments of the original Arabic were found in the Cairo’ geniza. The new and full copies from Firkovich collection help to understand the literary development of this work.
