Abstract
La obra que traemos a colación es una rara avis en el panorama académico, ya que se trata de un riguroso trabajo con un marcado carácter divulgativo que carece de eruditas notas a pie de página e interminables listados bibliográficos. No los necesita. Estamos ante una pequeña joya en la que se ofrece, en menos de cien páginas, una profunda reflexión sobre la trayectoria vital y literaria de Muhammad Chukri (1935-2003), uno de los escritores marroquíes más conocidos a nivel internacional además de estar considerado en el país magrebí como el novelista más destacado del último siglo.
