Abū l-ˁabbās Aḥmad ibn Šuˁayb, poeta, tebib y alquimista fāsí en las páginas de la "lḥāṭa" de Ben al-Jaṭīb
Abstract
Parting from lbn al-Jaṭīb's Iḥāṭa, we offer the biography of a kātib of the Chancery of the sultan marīní Abū l-Ḥasan ˁAlī (1331-1351) called ABŪ L-ˁABBĀS AḤMAD IBN ŠUˁAYB (ob. 749/1349), who was, a part from alquimist and famous doctor, also an emminent botanic and astronomer, and, above ali, one the most prolific poets mentioned in the jaṭībian anthology.
