El apeo de los habices de la Iglesia Parroquial de Abla (Almería) de 1550. Edición y estudio
Keywords:
XVIth. Century, Kingdom of Granada, Habis, ChurcAbstract
This work, based on the find of the only one Chruch's "habis" catalogue known at the present in the Bishopric of Guadix-Baza, specifically of Abla (Almería, Spain) in 1550, analyses their historical evolution, kind, extension, volume and expoilation forms. Thus, we approach to the economic and social life of a village whose population, mainly formed by "moriscos", was dominated by the old-christians minory, domination in which the Chruch played a basic role. Finally, it includes the edition of the whole catalogue text.Downloads
