Tres modelos de patas de arquetas nazaríes
Keywords:
Nasarid art, Inlaid workAbstract
Studied here three typesof bronce legs of nasrid boxes, datable to between 1345 and 1354 as they were found in the concrete of the Puerta de las Albercas of the Alhambra, built by Yusuf I. Apart from this item in the Museo de la Alhambra, there are two other types in the Instituto de Valencia de Don Juan of Madrid: one type being the four legs of an inlaid box, the other a single item which is without doubt the finest of the three types.Downloads
