Analyses how women are perceived through two periodicals of the Arabic community in Chile, La Reforma (1930-1942) and Mundo Árabe (1935-1938), edited by Jorge Sabaj Zurob, and also offers some examples of literary activity by women, focusing on the coexistence of the traditional Arabic vision about women based on masculine roots and the modern vision grounded in progressive principles.Downloads
