Abstract
Tries to show how the misogynistic current within the oriental tradition, present in works like the Sendebar or Hamasa of Abu Tammam, reaches al-Andalus and influences the vision of Arab and Jewish poets, offering a negative and sometimes burlesque image about women in both literatures.
