Abstract

This article presents the discourse of the Lebanese writer Joumana Haddad (1970) on two key issues: eroticism as the literary methodology of empowerment and feminism as the leitmotif of his essayistic works and newspaper articles. Her incessant struggle against censorship makes imperative to mention and study her magazine Jasad (2008), the first magazine specialised in body language written in Arabic language.
