Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of the origin and chronology of cremation in South East Iberia. Phoenician influence is denied to be decisive in the adoption of cremation by indigenous. On the other hand, South Eastern cremations are e o m pared with the Umfields ones, underlining their similarities and differences.
