La comunidad bastetana en la Antigüedad

Abstract

In this paper we present a synthesis of the actual knowledge about the ibericroman comunity settled in the hollow of Baza: litterary and epigraphic sources and archaeological documentation. The facts are scarce, but their interpretation with the help of a theory of romanisation and íntegration of indigenous comunities into the Roman State, allow us to present a hypothesis on this concrete process of transformation/integration.
