Abstract

The article seeks to focus attention on the characteristics of various sources, specifically in the analysis and discovery of deposits include camping trips romans.

After some general considerations on five of the different types of sources, from the perspective of their usefulness in that field, introduces a new way to interpret the ancient texts, in what is called battles as an indication - source, apply precisely to the possible location of castra romans, developing three exempla on specific cases.
