Abstract
From the argument that music is a place of meanings and that the energy which keeps alive and active the pedagogic-musical practices at the basic education school is established and nurtured trough an educational praxis – action/reflection/action – we present in this essay some dialogues on musical doings in a diversified educational context. As we present a reflective report on the music of each one, the world music, the music and the arts and music an inclusion – aspects of diversity in the context of music in school, we give life to the narrative of experience music in diversity. Through these processes, we understand the musical, social, religion and human development domains of school diversity, and we seek a music curriculum that is sociocultural and understands the culture as a big code of the society. Thereby, while learning and teaching music within a reality of sociocultural diversity, which values the mobilizing power of culture in music education, is intended to create a musical educational where everyone has participation opportunities, as listeners, performers, improvisers and composers.
