Principles оf Luddizm from Baroque to Postmodernism

Abstract

The article identifies the basic principles of luddizm in major literary trends and their modification from baroque to post-modernism. It is proved that the principles and techniques of the game developed into the system of poetics in Baroque-Mannerist literature; the subjective origin was dynamically developing in the literature of romanticism; realism was dominated by latent forms of the game, combined with direct mimesis. In the literature of modernism and postmodernism there emerged new types of the game which unusually combined principles and techniques of poetics and archaic and classical forms transformed themselves. Functions change and there emerge a tendency to latent mimesis and anti-mimeticity. There are two main trends in post-classical game: the loss of meaning, the game with the classics, schizoanalysis, necrophilia, an appeal to the pastiche, simulacrum, and the enrichment of shades, increasing ambiguity of meaning, deepening of intellectual game.
