Abstract

The article reveals and systematizes ways of metaphorical comprehension of the phenomenon of corruption outside the legal discourse based on the publications of Russian and Bulgarian media in the period from 2008 to 2017. The method of comparative analysis determines the field of coincidence of metaphorical models of political interdiscourse, which demonstrate the similarity of conceptualization of political and social reality. The article defines metaphorical models that are dominant for each of the related languages. It is concluded that formulating the official definition of corruption and state anti-corruption strategy, it is necessary to rely on national features of perception of corruption as a social phenomenon.
