Abstract

The image of Don Quixote influenced very strong on the Russian literature about 19-20 centuries. In this article we could find a comparison between two images: Don Quixote (by Miguel de Cervantes) and prince Myshkin (by F.M.Dostoevsky «Idiot») on level of names, inner characteristics of heroes, plot of romances and message of texts. «Don Quixote» by Cervantes is considered as precedent text for «Idiot». It is one of prototype for the «positive-beauty» prince Myshkin.
